This week was definitely rocking minus a few glitches here and there but it was definitely star studded

This week Katrina Kaif and Saif Ali Khan made several appearances on reality shows; several injuries and of course a lot of good news giving us reasons to celebrate.

Katrina Kaif and Saif Ali Khan’s appearances

Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Reloaded and Dance Plus was graced by Katrina Kaif and Saif Ali Khan’s appearances. They danced, commented and left their valuable comments for every performer. The couple were on the reality shows to promote their movie Phantom.

Eliminations

This week’s elimination really shocked up. The shoot of Jhalak Reloaded took place on Tuesday and Wednesday where Katrina and Saif were also present. We heard that Faisal Khan and Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi’s Radhika Madan were in the danger zone. If sources are to be believed Radhika was eliminated.

The fate of Kaisi Yeh Yaariyan

The media circuit is rife with rumours about MTV’s Kaisi Yeh Yaariyan ending and the season 2 being called off. Sources claim that Parth Samthaan will actually be singing an original composition along with Indian Idol singer Amit Gupta in the finale episode. While it is still sad news we are still crossing our fingers and hoping that the show doesn’t end.

Injuries

Surbhi Jyoti is shooting the season finale episodes of Qubool Hai before the big leap. The actress recently had a big fall and a grave injury to the head. She was immediately rushed to the hospital where she got about six stitches. Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’s Karan Patel was attacked by goons and during the fake fight the actor got injured. He anyway tweeted from the hospital about being healthy and fine.

New entries and revisiting

Qubool Hai is taking a 20-year leap and the production house has blocked Rajbeer Singh of Hatim fame for the lead role opposite Surbhi Jyoti. The role was initially offered to Harshad Arora, but due to creative differences the role didn’t go to him. In Kumkum Bhagya, Rithvik Dhanjani and Asha Negi made a special appearance where they save Pragya after the accident. The two were seen reprising their role from Pavitra Rishta.

Adapted myself to Mumbai: Prabhudheva

Ever since he shifted to Mumbai from Chennai, filmmaker Prabhudheva has been living in rented flats, unlike most of his contemporaries. In 2012, he had rented out Sridevi's Andheri apartment, but after the latter's bungalow caught fire in 2014, the director moved out, so that Sridevi and her family could shift there.

In fact, when he vacated Sridevi's house, a number of media reports claimed that Prabhudheva had become "homeless". "Mumbai is so big. After that (moving out of Sridevi's house), I moved into a Lokhandwala apartment. Then, I shifted to my current home [at Veera Desai road]."

The filmmaker, who has been living in the city for the past three years, finds the housing system in Mumbai "very different" from that in the southern part of India. "Even if you buy a house today (in Mumbai), they will give you its possession only in 2019-2020. In Mumbai, there is flat system, but in Chennai, we have single houses. So, this is new for me. But now, I have adapted myself to it," he says.

The filmmaker has also purchased a home in the city. "I've bought one, but it has been happening (the building is still under construction) for the past many months. First, they (the builders) said I will get the flat in 2015, which got changed to 2016. And now, it's 2017," he says.

New Delhi, Aug. 15 -- Akshay Kumar was in for a sweet surprise when a young fan confessed her love for him during a session of HT City Stars In the City.

"I have been in love with you since I was a child. It's like I have dated so many guys trying to see if someone matches up to you," said the 20-something girl, adding, "In fact, when you got married to Twinkle (Khanna), I decided to become an actress and make you divorce her. I love you Akshay."

And the 47-year-old actor played a sport, and replied, "I love you too my darling. It takes a lot of courage for someone to confess their feelings in public. Thank you for the love."

Jacqueline Fernandez who was accompanying Akki, and actor Siddharth Malhotra, spoke about how there is this misconception that Akshay is a prankster. "It is weird because when anyone meets me, they're like, "'Ohhh you know, Akshay is such a prankster', and I am like, 'No, what are you talking about? He didn't play any pranks on me'. He is not a prankster, he is a funny guy," said Jackky.
